Jared Leto has denied the sexual misconduct allegations that nine women have made against him.

Air Mail published a report on Saturday, June 7, in which multiple women shared stories alleging inappropriate behavior by the actor, 53, over the years — including incidents that occurred when many of them were minors.

In a statement to the outlet, a representative for the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman said that Leto “expressly denied” all of the allegations.

Model Laura La Rue told Air Mail that Leto approached her at an animal rights benefit in 2008 when she was 16 years old and asked for her number. After communicating with him via email, La Rue said she visited his house multiple times, starting in April 2009.

La Rue claimed during one visit when she was 17, Leto entered a room naked while she was there. “He just walked out, dick out, like it was normal,” she recounted. “I thought maybe this was just what adult men do.”

“Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate,” a representative for Leto told Air Mail, noting “Ms. La Rue later applied to work as Mr. Leto’s personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.” (La Rue denies that she applied to work as Leto’s personal assistant.)

One anonymous woman, who said she began speaking with Leto when she was underage, claimed he sexually assaulted her at his home when she was 18 years old.

She detailed the alleged incident to the publication saying, “He suddenly pulled his penis out and started masturbating. Then he walked over, grabbed my hand, and put it on him. He leaned in and said, ‘I want you to spit on it.’”

A second unnamed woman stated that Leto approached her at Urth Caffé in L.A. in 2006 when she was 16 years old and asked for her number. She claimed that Leto would call her in the middle of the night, noting “the conversations turned sexual. He’d ask things like, ‘Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a dick?’”

The second unnamed woman added that Leto changed “his voice, the way he talked. It scared me,” she said. That was the first time I thought, ‘Oh my God, that’s not just in movies.’ ”

According to Air Mail, the second woman’s mother claimed she overheard a phone call and could support the story.

Per the outlet, last month, D.J. Allie Teilz reposted a Facebook status she’d written in 2012 to her Instagram Story, which read, “Youre [sic] not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a kilt.. And a snow hat.”

In a separate story, she wrote, “I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17. He knew my age and didn’t care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.”

A representative for the My So-Called Life alum told Air Mail that her “allegations are demonstrably false.”
