Hailee Steinfeld Says She Loves to ‘Hunker Down’ and ‘Support’ Husband Josh Allen During NFL Season

Haillee Steinfeld‘s work-life balance has totally shifted since she tied the knot with Josh Allen.

In a recent interview with Variety, the Sinners actress, 28, shared that she surprisingly enjoys the structure of the 29-year-old Buffalo Bills quarterback’s NFL schedule.

“What we do [as actors] is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule,” Steinfeld explained. “So it’s actually a blessing — I try to organize my time so I can be where he is.”

The Dickinson alum — who wed Allen on May 31 in Santa Barbara, California — noted that she loves getting to step away from work to cheer on her hubby.

“This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him and live life,” she remarked. “When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me.”

“I’ve never lived this part of life before — outside of my work,” Steinfeld continued. “I’ve gotten a lot better at understanding what it means to slow down and to share that with someone. That’s the greatest thing ever.”

As Star previously reported, Allen spoke to Fox Sport’s Pam Oliver on the sidelines of a preseason game against the Chicago Bears in August and gushed over the Marvel actress.

“To have the support that I do at home and to have someone that I share similar life interests with and want in life, it’s an awesome feeling,” he quipped.

“And I get to support somebody as much as she supports me,” Allen added. “So I’m very happy, obviously.”
