Don’t count them out just yet. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, who’ve been fending off speculation of a split, are fighting to save their marriage. “They’ve taken stock of what went wrong this past year,” says an insider, “and realized they can’t coast anymore if they want this thing to last.”

Gwen, 56, and Blake, 49, who got hitched in 2021 — seven years after meeting as co-coaches on The Voice — were notably absent from November’s CMA Awards, where Blake was a nominee. They haven’t walked a red carpet together since March, the same month they released “Hangin’ On,” a duet about moving on from a relationship and have been less than effusive on social media. Says the insider, “They admit they really drifted and became disconnected.”

Now, the pair have a 5-point plan to repair the relationship. For starters, “They’ve committed to spending more time in the same zip code,” says the insider. “They’re also being more intentional about work and social commitments so they’re not pulled in opposite directions. Plus, Blake has promised to meet Gwen halfway on things that matter to her, like going to church. He’s also promised to get fit and cut back on crappy food.”
Finally, says the source, “They’re prioritizing their relationship with date nights and plans for a romantic getaway. It’s a very deliberate reset, which hopefully will get them back on track.”
