Gisele Bundchen Has Created a New Life That ‘Feels Very Peaceful’ With Husband Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bündchen is thrilled to be a newlywed, according to a source close to the Brazilian fashion model.

Bündchen, 45, privately married jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, 38, on December 3, roughly three years after ending her 13-year marriage to NFL star player Tom Brady. Now, not only does she have a new husband, but they share a one-year-old son. A source close to Bündchen told People in an article published on Monday, March 23, that she’s loving her life in Surfside, Florida, with Valente.

“It [marriage] didn’t change their day-to-day life in a big way, but it made things feel more meaningful,” the source told the outlet. “It was a very special moment for them to celebrate with close family and friends. They’ll joke about it and say, ‘Now we’ve been married for two months, now three months.’ It’s still new, but it already feels like they’ve built so much together in a short time.”

The source added that Bündchen and her new husband are “incredibly happy” and that she’s focusing on family. The  former Victoria’s Secret Angel also shares daughter Vivian, 13, and son Benjamin, 16, with Brady, 48.

“She’s created a life that feels very peaceful. It’s a slower, more intentional pace, and it’s exactly what she wants. It’s an amazing lifestyle for the whole family. It’s very focused on wellness,” the source noted. “They spend a lot of time outside. They love going for walks, paddleboarding and just being active together.”

Although their wedding was very private and was kept out of the public eye, Star previously reported that Bündchen reached out to Brady to tell him that she was planning to tie the knot again.

“Gisele gave Tom a heads up beforehand,” a source told Star in January. “They’re civil for the sake of the kids.”
