“You know, I’m not on Twitter or Instagram or any of that bulls**t because … I drink,” the Jay Kelly star explained during a discussion with broadcaster Edith Bowman at the British Film Institute in London, according to Variety in a story published on November 21. “You know, 3 a.m., my Mother Teresa joke might not play so well when I wake up the next day.”
The Kentucky native lamented that “every opportunity to have an interview or to have a conversation could result in the end of your career.”
At 64, Clooney still has a full schedule, including the upcoming s which will reunite some of the stars of Ocean’s Eleven almost 25 years after its premiere. Along with Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt are all returning, and the E.R. alum couldn’t help but joke about their age.

“It is like, you know, all the things we used to be able to do that we can’t do anymore,” he shared during the discussion, per Variety. “It’s gonna be like The Golden Girls … So, we’re looking forward to that, and I’m not sure when we start that yet.”
Clooney also jokingly took a jab at Pitt, 61, saying, “It’s about getting the schedule going, and we also have to take all of the budget and give it to Brad, now that he’s had a hit. He’s hard to live with, you guys.”
