David Eason‘s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Leedham, suffered an unimaginable loss after her daughter Lailah passed away last week.
The Teen Mom 2 star, 36, shares son Kaden, 10, with Leedham, making Kaden and Lailah, 7, half-siblings. Alice Guy, a close family friend of Leedham’s, created a GoFundMe page explaining what happened to the little girl.
“Our friend Olivia Leedham tragically lost her beautiful seven-year-old daughter, Lailah Price, yesterday,” Guy explained in the description. “She was in the emergency room several times without a diagnosis, and while in the hospital Friday night, she had a seizure and passed away early Saturday morning, June 7th.”
“Lailah was a bright light in their family and loved life and Jesus very much,” Guy continued, noting Olivia “is a single mom to Kaden, age 10, and Lailah, age 7.”
The GoFundMe requested donations to help offset unexpected costs following Lailah’s death. “Olivia takes pride in supporting her children and providing for them as a barber,” Guy wrote, “but in light of this terrible tragedy, we are trying to raise money to help her over the next few months covering living expenses, etc. as she tries to heal after this tragic loss.”
As of the time of publication, more than $15,000 has been raised.
An update on the page shared that the family would hold a funeral for Lailah this weekend and greatly appreciated the financial support they received.
Eason and Leedham had an on-again-off-again relationship that officially ended in 2014. According to People, the former reality star lost sole custody of Kaden in 2019.
Eason is also a dad to daughter Maryssa, 17, with ex Whitney Rich. In 2017, Eason welcomed daughter Ensley, 8, with Jenelle Evans. Eason and Evans, 33, tied the knot later that year.
However, their relationship was rocky and in 2019, MTV cut ties with Eason after he allegedly killed their family’s dog. (Eason later confirmed the incident to People, explaining “it was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger,” after the dog bit their daughter Ensley.)
In March 2024, Evans, who currently has sole physical and legal custody of Ensley, filed for separation from Eason but had to wait a year before officially filing for divorce due to a North Caroline law.
Evans spoke to E! News on June 6 and gave an update on her marriage. “I filed for absolute divorce,” she told the outlet. “So, fingers crossed, just waiting on paperwork to be signed, and then I’ll have my last name back.
“I’m moving on to a new chapter in my life,” Evans added. “[I’m] moving on from negative energy and just trying to find myself again and learn to be alone and have this time to myself and my kids.”
