Former ‘American Idol’ Costars Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez Leaning on Each Other Amid Divorces
Misery loves company! In the months since Keith Urban’s shock split from Nicole Kidman, the country star has found someone to lean on.
A source tells Star that the 58-year-old has been sympathizing with fellow high-profile divorcée Jennifer Lopez, whose marriage to Ben Affleck ended in 2024.
“J.Lo reached out as soon as she found out about the break-up,” says an insider. “She wanted to offer her support — a lot of people did that for her when she and Ben broke up, and it meant everything to her.” The insider says she also feels for him as many have sided with Nicole in the split.
The “On the Floor” singer, 56, grew close to the Australia-bred Keith during their stint as judges on American Idol more than a decade ago. “They always shared a lot of laughs,” says the insider. Now, they’re sharing some tears. “Jen’s still hurting over her divorce,” adds the insider. “So he’s helping lift her spirits too.”
