Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi ‘Agree’ It’s Time to Leave the U.K., ‘Head Back’ to the U.S.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi had become familiar faces in the English countryside where they moved before the 2024 election. The pair would pop into local pubs like The Farmer’s Dog, and Ellen, 67, gushed that their 43-acre spread had enough land to keep horses for avid rider Portia, 52, and plenty of room for their three dogs to run around.
But a source tells Star that the former talk show host, who left the U.S. in protest against the current political climate, is eyeing a move back to the States — and it’s all about saving her marriage! Moving “was a great idea at first,” says the insider. “But as time’s dragged on, the day-to-day reality of life in the rainy countryside has gotten frustrating for both of them.”
Per the insider, Ellen spends all day on Zoom calls plotting a comeback from her toxic-workplace scandal, leaving Portia bored and lonely. Says the insider, “Both agree it’s time to head back and take care of business.”
