Elizabeth Olsen Finds Herself in a Love Triangle With Miles Teller and Callum Turner in ‘Eternity’
This sets itself apart from most rom-coms in that the characters are dead. Like all of the recently deceased, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) spends her first week in the afterlife deciding on how she wants to live forever and ever.
That means deciding between the man she was married to for 65 years (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young fighting in the Korean War, and who’s waited decades for her to arrive. There are no easy answers in this love triangle, which makes this funny film especially poignant and bittersweet.
