It was the kiss cam footage seen around the world—and the fallout from the mega-viral moment is far from over. Kristin Cabot, the HR professional who was caught snuggling up to her boss, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, during a Coldplay concert near Boston in July, officially filed for divorce from her husband Andrew Cabot on August 13, reports the Daily Mail.
The outlet also caught up with 60-year-old Andrew’s ex-wife Julia Cabot, a yoga teacher who had plenty to say about her former husband of four years. “I got loads of texts from people who heard what happened, and 99 per cent of them said the same word: karma,” spilled the 63-year-old. Though their own 2018 divorce was contentious and took two years to finalize, according to records accessed by the Daily Mail, Julia reached out to Andrew in the wake of the Coldplay scandal.

“I texted Andrew right after it happened, and he said: ‘Her life is nothing to do with me,’ and said they were separating,” she revealed, going on to bash her ex, who comes from a billionaire family known as part of the “Boston Brahmin,” a nickname for the city’s most elite. “He’s saying it has nothing to do with him, even though they were married and shared a house. But then, the only thing he cares about is money,” she said.
“That’s why after it happened, I got loads of texts from people with that word: karma. It was like: what you give, you get. Personally I don’t think he’s affected by what happened at all. I don’t think his feelings are hurt. He’s probably embarrassed, if anything. He’s a Boston Brahmin, that’s their code: ‘This isn’t anything to do with me.’ His ego is too big to be affected by this and the only thing that he’s bummed about is that he was embarrassed.”
Andrew, who is the CEO of Privateer Rum and has two grown children from his first marriage, which ended in 2011, has not commented publicly on the scandal.
