Christina Applegate Slams ‘RHOSLC’ Cast’s ‘Treatment’ of ‘Below Deck’ Crew Members: ‘Gross’

Christina Applegate has quite a few thoughts on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Below Deck crossover.

The highly anticipated Bravo crossover event began airing October 28 on the current season of RHOSLC and continues through November 11.

On this week’s episode, RHOSLC’s Britani Bateman — who has had a tumultuous on-off relationship with Jared Osmond — appeared to be at the center of some drama.

After Bronwyn Newport brought up 54-year-old Bateman’s late-night encounter with Captain Jason Chambers, who was apparently just going to “fix the A.C.” (according to Bateman), Lisa Barlow chimed in: “Enough with the pile on. Like, Captain Jason’s not interested. It’s, like, duh!”

Then Barlow, 50, asked Below Deck’s Daisy Kelliher to back her up. “Daisy, come on!” Barlow insisted. “Is he interested? Say, ‘No. Hard no.’”

Kelliher, 36, stayed quiet.

Applegate, 53, shared her true feelings on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “The treatment of the crew and my pals by the women was super gross. I hope they apologized to Jason and Daisy. Wow.”

She then shared a follow-up tweet on Thursday, November 6, to apologize for being so blunt. “To the SLC ladies I want to apologize,” Applegate wrote. “I was just watching and I was a bit shocked. But I realize you’re shooting a show too. And you’re my favorite franchise! Much love.”

On the episode, Barlow said she felt “bad” for the 52-year-old captain, adding: “I wouldn’t want my name dragged around in a conversation that I’m not a part of. Don’t do this to people.”

However, Chambers seemed unfazed by the whole ordeal, posting a throwback photo with Whitney Rose and Heather Gay to his Instagram Story on Wednesday.

In the upcoming final crossover episode, according to Bravo, “It’s the final day at sea and tensions boil over as Meredith and Britani’s feud continues. Meredith finds fault with Whitney. Bronwyn offers Meredith a sacrificial offering. An alleged incident leaves the entire group divided and forced to pick sides. Back at home, Bronwyn faces her own scandal. Angie learns disappointing news from Elektra.”
