“She’s in a great place and more positive than ever about kicking her Hollywood career up a notch,” says the source.
Faris previously opened up about her decision to stop drinking on the Thursday, August 20 episode of Chelsea Handler‘s podcast, Dear Chelsea.
“It turns out there’s a correlation between drinking and depression, for me, for sure,” she said. “I had to take a step back and not self-sabotage.”

Faris doesn’t just have the support of fans but also her ex-husband, Chris Pratt.
The former couple, who share 14-year-old son Jack, were married for eight years before splitting in 2017. Both have since remarried.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 47, tied the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 and the pair went on to welcome three children, Lyla, 6, Eloise, 4, and Ford, 22 months. Meanwhile, the Mom alum exchanged vows in 2021 with cinematographer Michael Barrett, with whom she coparents his two children, Dashiell and Margot, from a previous marriage.
“Chris is very supportive of her on her sobriety journey,” says the source. “They continue to be united by their love for and devotion to their son Jack. He’s the center of everything for both Anna and Chris and they have established peace after their divorce.”
