Chris Martin Brings the Energy to Coldplay’s England Show Following Now-Viral Kiss Cam Scandal
Chris Martin couldn’t miss an opportunity to bring up the Kiss Cam “debacle” heard around the world — the same one that brought Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres world tour the kind of PR you can’t buy.
During the band’s show at Sewell Group Craven Park, the 48-year-old addressed the July 16 incident — in which Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot were caught embracing on the Jumbotron, despite being married to other people — and made it clear they’d continue to highlight fans.
“We’ve been doing this a long time and it is only recently that it became a… yeah,” he told the audience, per HullLive. “Life throws you lemons and you’ve got to make lemonade.”
