Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have reportedly been butting heads with David and Victoria Beckham since before their April 2022 wedding — but according to a source, the young couple has finally put their foot down.
“David and Victoria have been relentless for the last five years, constantly going after Brooklyn and Nicola,” one well-placed source close to the situation exclusively tells Star. “There’s been this ongoing pressure and criticism, they just can’t seem to let Brooklyn and Nicola live their lives.”
Three years into their marriage, Brooklyn, 26 — who is David and Victoria’s eldest child of four — is just “trying to make his own way” in life and move on, the source notes.
“He doesn’t deserve to be belittled or ignored for that,” adds the source. “It’s as if they’re rattled and getting terrible advice, and now, Brooklyn and Nicola are finally standing up for themselves.”

Now that that’s happened, the source suggests that the Beckhams aren’t sure “how to handle the fact that their son has a spine and a voice.”
The source also suggested that if Victoria, 51, and David, 50, want to “win their son back” following years of alleged family drama, “constantly attacking his wife is the worst possible way to go about it.”

“The attacks, subtle or otherwise, are doing the opposite of what Victoria and David claim to want,” the source explains. “People around them, friends of the family, are genuinely confused. They’re asking, ‘Why are they relentlessly hammering Brooklyn and Nicola?’”
Brooklyn “is a good kid,” the source adds. “And he deserves better than this.”
