Britney Spears Concerned With Sons’ ‘Welfare’ Amid ‘Sensationalism’ Surrounding Kevin Federline’s Book
Britney Spears had her say in her memoir, The Woman in Me. Now, her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who split from the 43-year-old in 2007, is telling his side of the story. Among the disturbing revelations in his memoir, You Thought You Knew, is his ex’s erratic behavior around their sons, Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, who he claims were afraid to stay at their mom’s house.
“They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — ‘Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand,” the 47-year-old writes in one disturbing chapter. (More recently, the singer has concerned fans by dancing with a knife on social media.)
Elsewhere, he discusses her use of drugs and alcohol and laments the end of the conservatorship that controlled Brit’s life.
A spokesman for Britney told the New York Times Kevin is “profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids… and their welfare during this sensationalism.”
