Bradley Cooper Responds to Ongoing Speculation About Whether He’s Had Plastic Surgery

Bradley Cooper and his buddies recently discussed the rumors that he has gone under the knife.

The A Star is Born actor, 51, appeared on the Monday, January 5, episode of the SmartLess podcast hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett.

At the beginning of the episode, Arnett, 55, revealed that he was once asked to share something about Cooper “that people don’t know,” and he thought about dispelling the myth that The Hangover star had work done.

“I said, ‘Well, there’s a lot,'” the Arrested Development alum laughed. “And then I was gonna say, because we keep reading everybody thinks that Bradley’s had plastic surgery. Everybody keeps saying that. I’m like, ‘What people don’t know is that he hasn’t.'”

“That he hasn’t,” Bateman stated to which Arnett responded, “Yeah. Of course, he hasn’t!”

Cooper shared that he’s even been approached in public about his appearance.

“Some people came up to me the last couple of weeks, and they’re like, ‘Oh, you look good,'” he said.

Arnett added, “But it did make me think… It made me mad because people say that all the time and it’s a hilarious thing. Everybody thinks that they know. You know you read that bulls**t stuff.”

Over the last few years, fans have speculated that Cooper has undergone cosmetic procedures.

UK-based plastic surgeon Gerard Lambe told the Daily Mail in an article published in October that it looked like Cooper had “his jaw tightened, and a lower facelift.”

“His eyes do look a bit wider and more open,” Lambe further noted, speculating Cooper may have also gotten an upper blepharoplasty.
