Billy Ray Cyrus is ‘Too Intense’ for Elizabeth Hurley’s Son Damian
According to a source, Elizabeth Hurley’s son, Damian, isn’t thrilled about her new romance with Billy Ray Cyrus.
The model’s only child, 23, “was supportive at first” of the duo, who hard-launched their relationship in April. “But the longer time’s dragged on the less he likes the vibe. Billy Ray is too intense for his liking.”
The country star, 63, recently revealed that Liz, 60, his costar in 2022’s Christmas in Paradise, reached out following his messy 2024 divorce from Australian singer Firerose amid abuse accusations on both sides (which they have denied).
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy,” he swooned on The Ty Bentli Show in April. But Damian is worried, says the source.
“Liz defends Billy Ray and thinks Damian’s being overprotective and a little snobby. She’s confident that in time Damian will see Billy Ray’s a good guy.”
