Ben Affleck’s Thanksgiving Predicament With Ex Jennifer Lopez Causing Problems With Jennifer Garner

It’s a predicament familiar to many divorced folks — how to handle the holidays? And as Thanksgiving approaches, sources tell Star Ben Affleck is caught in the middle between his “diva” second wife, Jennifer Lopez, and his more laidback first wife, Jennifer Garner.

“This is like Groundhog Day for Ben,” an insider says of the 53-year-old. “He had the same issue last year, but wound up finding a solution by splitting his time between J.Lo and Jen.” That way, he could spend time with both his stepkids, twins Max and Emme, 17, and his children with Jen, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and 13-year-old Samuel.

When he suggested doing the same this year, says the insider, J.Lo pushed back. “She’s offered to fly Ben and all the kids somewhere tropical to let the kids properly catch up — and to put an end to any awkwardness between her and Ben.” Jen Garner isn’t having it, however.

“Giving J.Lo her blessing to take her kids away isn’t sitting comfortably with her at all,” says the insider. “She’s telling Ben to find another way.”
