Ben Affleck’s Exes Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner Reportedly Created ‘One Big Modern Family’

Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner may no longer be connected through Ben Affleck, but the two are still very much on the same page when it comes to their families.

Both women attended the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11, where they served as presenters. While cameras never caught them posing together, a source told the Daily Mail the move was intentional and drama-free.

“They get along, they are cool with each other, there are no issues,” a source told the publication in an article published on Monday, January 12. “They don’t want to drum up headlines by posing together at an awards show. That would be awkward and they don’t want to create a fuss because it would be hard for the kids.”

The source added that Lopez, 56, and Garner, 53, see each other regularly due to their close family ties. Lopez shares twins Emme and Max, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Garner shares Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13 with Affleck, 53. According to the source, the children are especially close and that leads to the “Let’s Get Loud” singer and the Last Thing He Told Me star to interact on a regular basis.

“I’m pretty sure they see each other like once a week because of the kids, and they talk on the phone,” the source said, adding that they are “coparenting in a way even though Lopez divorced Ben.”

Lopez has also been spotted spending time with the Argo star and Garner’s children individually, implying that the blended family dynamic goes beyond formal obligations.

“They’re like one big modern family,” the source explained. “They’ve all been in solid therapy and understand the importance of getting along for the sake of the kids.”

Lopez attended the Golden Globes for the first time since her divorce from Affleck, and Garner made her return after a 13-year absence.
