Arsenio Hall is looking back at a memorable romance with Pamela Anderson and the reaction they sparked together.
Per, People, in his new book, Arsenio: A Memoir, the 70-year-old comedian recalls bringing the Baywatch alum, now 58, to a comedy gig in the 1980s.
“Heads swivel when I walk into The Comedy Store with Pamela Anderson on my arm. The audience stirs. Jaws drop. Cigarettes fall out of men’s mouths. I sit Pam at a corner table and go onstage for my set,” he writes, per the outlet.
Hall adds that the attention-grabbing moment also preceded one of his best performances.

“I immediately lock in, blast off, and destroy. One of my best sets ever. I know I’m going to score twice this night,” he continues. “With thunderous applause roaring behind me like a tidal wave, I take Pam’s hand. She’s still laughing as I strut toward the back door of the club.”
While their romance didn’t last, Hall writes that the two remained close.
“We became very good friends,” he reveals, noting they stayed “homies” for years.
The memoir, per the outlet, also dives deeper into Hall’s life and career, including his groundbreaking late-night run on The Arsenio Hall Show and his interactions with major stars like Bill Clinton, Madonna and Tupac Shakur.
