Just in time for Halloween, Stephen King’s novel It has been dusted off for another adaptation. Set in 1962, the series opens with the arrival of an African-American military man Leroy (Jovan Adepo), and his family to Derry, Maine.

They quickly come to regret their decision when they learn they’re just in time for the demon clown Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård, in his third scary turn in the role) to awaken from his 27-year hibernation to terrorize the townspeople. King himself has called this series “amazing” and “terrifying,” so horror fans will not be disappointed.

IT: Welcome To Derry | Premieres Sunday, Oct. 26, on HBO
