Adam Sandler and Christopher McDonald Face Off Again in Highly Anticipated ‘Happy Gilmore 2’

Hockey-player-turned-links-legend Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) is back after nearly 30 years. Now he’s trying for a comeback to pay for his daughter’s ballet school … if he can just beat his old rival Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald).

The flick has all the elements of a typical Sandler movie — a lovable working-class hero, a patient wife (Julie Bowen), tons of slapstick antics and cameos by just about everyone the SNL vet ever met, including his daughter Sunny Sandler, pro golfers Rory McIlroy and Jack Nicklaus, rappers Eminem and Bad Bunny and even… Jeopardy!’s Ken Jennings (?!) Happy Gilmore 2 doesn’t break any new, er, divots, but it’s still a fun romp.
