Ronnie Ortiz-Magro posted a photo to his Instagram Story where he seemed to allege that his baby mama Jen Harley gave him a black eye. He posted the selfie of his bruised face today, October 24, worrying his fans.
The Jersey Shore star wrote over the selfie, “Sorry for lying to my friends and family, sometimes u love people so much [you’re] willing to lie and [to] hurt the people that love u the most to protect.” He also wrote, “@JenX kidddddddddddd.” Though that’s not Jen’s Instagram, it seemed he was implying she was the one who hurt him.
Jersey Shore fans know that his friends had been begging the 32-year-old to break things off with his baby mama. They share daughter Ariana Sky.
Jen, for her part, made her Instagram account private. Ronnie, meanwhile, deleted photos of them together from his account.
This wouldn’t be the first time their relationship has gotten violent. During filming for season two of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, they got into an altercation in the cast’s Vegas hotel room, which was caught on camera. He called the cops on her when she kept Ariana from him.
In June, she was arrested for domestic battery after she allegedly hit him. But just a few weeks later, they had reconciled and celebrated the Fourth of July together. The couple were also spotted on vacation with Ariana. On last week’s episode, he revealed they were in couples’ therapy together.
Last week, Jen answered fan questions on her Instagram and blamed Jersey Shore for all their problems. “Honestly the show has been the route [sic] of all our problems,” she wrote. The mom of two also wanted him to quit the show.
His cast mates and friends have yet to comment on the photo.
