Dennis Hof, the owner of the infamous brothel where Lamar Odom overdosed, has died at the age of 72, as reported by Radaronline.com.
The mogul owned seven legal brothels in the state of Nevada, the most famous of them the Love Ranch brothel, where the NBA star nearly died in 2015.
Nye County Sheriff’s PIO Arnold Knightly confirmed the news of Dennis’ passing to Radar: “Our commission chairman said that he went to sleep last night and did not wake up this morning. We are not ruling anything out.”
A Clark Coroner’s office spokesperson told Radar, “His death is currently under investigation.”
Dennis was celebrating his 72nd birthday last night, his campaign manager Chuck Muth said.
“We had a wonderful event last night. He was having the time of his life last night. Grover Norquist was there,” Chuck added. “Ron Jeremy was there. He was given a rescue dog as a birthday present. He was having the time of his life.”
“I got a call from his assistant, in tears, saying Dennis died and I need you to come out here immediately, I can’t deal with this myself.”

Dennis was running for a Nevada legislative seat after ousting a Republican incumbent in the primary this year. After winning his primary, he told Radar, “I’m going from prostitution to politics, where the real whores are!”
Dennis also starred on the HBO show Cathouse, about life at one of his legal brothels.
In 2015 Lamar was found unconscious lying face down at Dennis’ Love Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. The NBA player had reportedly had been staying at the facility for a number of days and allegedly spent $75,000 for his personal entertainment.
