Bill Cosby Found Guilty On ALL Sexual Assault Charges In Retrial

Half-dozen women testified that the famed comedian drugged and assaulted them.

Bill Cosby was convicted of sexual assault on Thursday in his retrial after half-dozen women testified that the once respected comedian drugged and assaulted them.

After two days of deliberation the jury—made up of seven men and five women— returned a guilty verdict on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

The actor’s own admissions about drugs and sex along with the testimony of five other women backing accuser Andrea Constand’s allegations ultimately resulted his conviction.

Bill faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000 for each count.

This is the first big celebrity trial concerning sexual harassment and considered a victory for the #MeToo movement.

As readers know, the 80-year-old entertainer was accused by Andrea, the former operations manager of the women’s basketball team at Temple University, of drugging and molesting her in January 2004.

The charges were first brought to trail last June, but the Jury ended in a deadlock on all charges after more than 50 hours of deliberations.

The charges against Cosby were filed on Dec. 30, 2015 – just days before the 12-year statute of limitations was due to expire.
