‘Khloe & Lamar’ Star Rasual Butler & Wife Leah Labelle Die In Fatal Car Crash

The retired NBA player is the third close friend Odom has lost in recent years.

14-year NBA veteran player, Rasual Butler and his wife Leah LaBelle were in killed in a tragic car crash early Wednesday morning in Studio City, California.

 

The 38-year-old reportedly lost control of his Range Rover around 2 a.m and hit a parking meter before crashing into a wall. The car then flipped over. Police believe speeding was a factor in the fatal incident.

 

Leah Labelle was an R& B singer who was signed to Epic Records. She first appeared on season 3 of American Idol in 2004 and placed 12th.

 

Rasual retired from the NBA in 2016. He played for the Hornets, the Clippers, the Bulls, the Wizards, the Raptors, the Pacers, the Spurs, before eventually playing for Ice Cube’s Big 3 league.

 

Rasual was close friends with former NBA player Lamar Odom and had appeared on the TV show Khloe and Lamar.

 

The ex-NBA player is the third close friend Odom has lost in recent years.

 

In 2015, months before Lamar was found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel, he lost his best friends, Jamie Sangouthai and Bobby Heyward, within a week of each other.
