The Bachelor is gearing up for Season 22 if you can believe it, and the leading man is not who many may expect…Arie Luyendyk Jr.
Arie was on ABC’s The Bachelorette Season 8 and was the first runner up. He also was on the seventeenth season of The Bachelor!
He didn’t win over any hearts either time, so now, he is getting a third chance, and as they say, the third time’s a charm!
Arie is the son of son of two-time Indianapolis winner Arie Luyendyk and he is also a former Indianapolis competitor. Let’s hope whichever lucky ladies vie for his heart are big race car driving fans!
“This is pretty surreal,” Arie tells People. “It doesn’t really feel real yet, but I’m taking it step by step.. I could not be more excited for this journey I’m about to embark on.”
“I’m not nervous,” he continued. “Now that I’ve had some time and distance away from it, it feels like the feeling I had before I went into it the first time.” He said
“I’m not concerned what people think. I’m just focused on the outcome. I want to find my person and will do whatever it takes!”
