Raking in half a million dollars per episode, NCIS: LA star LL Cool J has 500,000 reasons to come to work prepared, but after eight years on the series, on-set sources say the rapper turned actor still can’t remember his lines!
“It’s painful,” reveals the insider. “He’s a great guy, and he really tries, but rarely does a day’s shoot go by without him having to be fed some lines.”
While LL’s rep calls our story false, the tipster says the 49-year-old is such a sweetie on set no one minds the gaffes. LL’s nice-guy nature helps keep tensions at bay, though.
“If he wasn’t such a nice person, there would be way more people kicking up a stink,” adds the source. “It’s difficult to be angry with him, though, because he’s genuinely lovely.”
