Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Paris this weekend. The royal couple looked very much in love in spite of recent fallout after William was photographed with his hand on a woman’s waist while partying on a ski trip with friends. Rumors swirled that Kate was furious and giving William the cold shoulder, but if a picture’s worth a thousand words the ones taken of the couple by the Eiffel Tower this weekend speak volumes. Kate and William traveled to Paris on Friday via private jet for a two-day trip. This was their first official visit to the city, as well as the first time William visited since his mother Princess Diana’s tragic death in 1997. Their itinerary was jam packed with activities beginning with a meeting with President François Hollande at the Elysée Palace, followed by a formal dinner to which Kate wore not one, but two designer gowns. Saturday’s schedule included a tour of Les Invalides, a museum dedicated to the military history of France, where Kate and William met with survivors of the terror attacks in Bataclan and Nice. The couple ended their trip on a lighter note, attending a rugby match between Wales and France. Wales lost in spite of Kate’s donning a gorgeous red coat, red being the color of Team Wales.
