RadarOnline.com caught up with the brains behind the “sexy, brave, inspiring” new lingerie line Barely Undies.
“Barely Undies is about inspiring and empowering women,” Brand Manager Ronit Potik explained.
“There is a quote on the back of each package: ‘A strong woman will use the bricks thrown at her to build a foundation. Start with your undies.’ The first thing you put on in the morning is underwear. I want women to feel great as soon as they start their day.”
Feeling great is key, but Barely Undies look good, too!
“My favorite is yellow: Sunshine,” noted Potik. “It’s a happy color and makes me feel like the sun is shining down on me all day — and like I can conquer anything that comes my way.”
The company’s commitment to charity helps separate Barely Undies from the competition, said Potik.
“A portion of proceeds will be donated to organizations that help survivors of domestic abuse,” a cause close to the brand manager’s heart.
“One in three women and one in four men suffer from domestic violence in their lifetime, yet this is a subject people feel embarrassed to talk about,” she noted. “Sharing the story of my unhealthy, abusive marriage was one of the hardest things that I’ve done. I want to be an advocate for others.”
