The Grand County Utah closed the missing person investigation when remains were spotted in a “steep and rocky” terrain at 10:30 a.m. local time near the Salt Wash area, near exit 175 on I-70. As soon as the remains were believed to be Michael, 30, cops transported the body to the medical examiner “for positive identification and to determine the cause of death,” an official statement on the office website read.
As Star reported, his Honda Civic was found abandoned and still running in Monticello, Utah, according to officials. He was last spotted on a gas station video surveillance tape filmed on Nov. 27.
According to RadarOnline.com, Michael was arrested for threatening a woman with a shotgun only four days before his disappearance, which was only one of the many times he had run-ins with the law.
