Belieb it or not— Justin Bieber’s single “What Do You Mean?” has finally debuted on August 28, and it’s been well worth the wait apparently.

The lyric video was released as well, and it’s not what you’d expect. Much of the black-and-white clip is just skateboarder pals Ryan Sheckler and Chelsea Castro boarding through the streets of L.A. in slow motion. The vibe is very chill, and near the end, they meet up with the Biebs, and he showcases some of his own skateboarding prowess—shirtless, of course.

The 21-year-old singer’s month-long countdown to the release of the catchy, uptempo song, was orchestrated by enlisting the help of fans, as well as a slew of celebrities who he’d share expressing their anticipation via Instagram, each passing day. Some of the high profile buds who showed their support were Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Ben StillerMartha Stewart, Kevin Hart, Kendall Jenner, Ashton Kutcher, Will Ferrell and Ellen DeGeneres, to name a few.

The Skrillex produced track is the second off the “Where Are You Now?” singer’s upcoming album, to be released in November of this year. “I’ve been working on this thing for three years. I’ve been trying to figure out the sound. I’ve been going through phases of doing R&B music, and then really hard hip-hop based music,” the Calvin Klein underwear model shared in an interview, “and now I’m in a place of wanting to really bring all those things together to make one cohesive sound.”

Justin will perform “What Do You Mean” live at the MTV Video Music awards on August 30, and who knows—maybe he’ll perform some of his skateboarding tricks on stage!
