According to his recently unearthed tour rider, if you want to keep Pharrell Williams “Happy,” you’d better have Nilla Wafers, Pedialyte, gluten-free bread, matches, “SUPER COLD” sodas, a variety of five fish dishes (cooked in a pan) and most bizarrely, two (framed) photos of astrophysicist Carl Sagan.

The Voice judge says Carl’s portrait reminds him “how lucky we are to be on this planet.”
Rumors had it that Pharrell and Adam Levine were having some issues behind the scenes of The Voice. Not only was Pharrell taking all of the contestants that Adam normally would’ve snatched, but “he is also a favorite among the production staff,” a show insider told Radar in March. “Pharrell takes this role very seriously and is new and fresh,” the insider dished. Maybe all of Pharrell’s wacky demands for his room have something to do with his charm!
