Cara Delevingne Has The Most Awkward Interview—News Anchor Tells Her To Go Back To Bed & Drink A Red Bull

Cara delevinge interview

An interview between Paper Towns star Cara Delevingne and the hosts of Good Day Sacramento was cut short. The interview aired last week, following the Paper Towns premiere on July 21.

The interview started off on the wrong foot when the anchors introduced Cara as ‘Carla.’ The model raised her famous eyebrows and gracefully continued on. The interview snowballed when an anchor asked Cara if she had read the book Paper Towns. Cara snaps back with her witty sarcasm, saying, “No, I didn’t read the book or the script, actually — I kinda winged it.”

Not impressed with her sarcastic sense of humor, the news anchors called the model-gone-actress out and accused her of being “tired,” “irritated” and “in a mood.”

Cara 1

This is the Cara the anchors wanted on Good Morning Sacramento. A peppy and more “awake” Cara, with the rest of the Paper Towns cast at Meet the Filmmaker: ‘Paper Towns’ at Apple Store Soho.

Instead of asking questions about her role and the film, she was quizzed on being busy, tired, and grilled about she managed to “focus” on different projects simultaneously. One of the newscasters recalled an interview Cara did for a British newspaper, and blurted out mid-response that she, “seemed a lot more excited about [the movie] than you do right now. Are you just exhausted?”

The Angel replies, “No, I mean, I’m still very excited. The premiere was last night and it felt like the end of an era, but I’m not any less excited than I was a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I had a bit more energy, it’s the morning.”

To be totally fair, the attack came out of nowhere, and Cara was just defending herself with her humor.

Cara Delevingne gives Good Day Sacramento anchors a look after they had been attacking her for being “tired” and “in a mood” during their interview.

Cara’s answers were not up to Good Day Sacramento‘s par. “You do seem a bit irritated. Perhaps it’s just us,” the anchor said, prompting the actress to respond: “Yes, perhaps it is just you.”

At the end of the interview, the anchors cut Cara off. “We’ll let you go then, how about that? We’ll let you go and take a nap and maybe have a Red Bull,” one of them said.

Delevingne’s camera turned off, but not before the actress got the last word. “Too far,” she said under her breath.  After Cara was off the air, the female news anchor told her colleague, “Well she was in a mood!”
