Former reality star Bristol Palin wants to take a string of words back after announcing her second pregnancy.

Bristol, an advocate for abstinence education, said earlier this weekend that discovering her second pregnancy “has been, and will be, a huge disappointment.” But now, she doesn’t want people to think her earlier statement meant the baby was unplanned. Her latest blog post called “My Little Blessing” attempts to do this very thing to clarify for her family, friends and fans.

“So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me,” Palin wrote on her blog on Sunday. “None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a—holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believe I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on. But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!” Bristol shared.

The 24-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin says she’s “not 17 anymore,” and believes she’s on the right track.

“I’ve been employed at the same doctor’s office for over six years now; I own a home; I have a well-rounded, beautiful son. When I realized I was pregnant, I knew I would be completely crucified. But I never even thought of aborting this child, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE.”

Bristol and ex-fiance, Dakota Meyer, recently canceled their wedding which was planned for Memorial Day weekend last month. Her follow-up blog post about the called-off wedding said: “I know God’s plan is greater than anything else, and Tripp and I are in Alaska beginning to rebuild our lives under much different circumstances than we anticipated.”

Based on her recent Instagram after her Sunday post defending her lifestyle, Palin and her 6-year-old son Tripp look to be taking some time with nature to get away from the media’s spotlight on her.
