Aunt Pat Houston gave the update on Bobbi Kristina Brown on June 24, which revealed, “Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care.”
The Houston family thanked “everyone for their support and prayers,” adding that “she’s in God’s hands now.” Pat visited Bobbi Kristina this morning at the hospice.
The same day Bobbi arrived at the hospice, Brown’s conservator claimed her boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was responsible for finding the 22-year-old singer’s daughter face-down and unconscious in the bathtub, is being accused of assaulting and stealing from Bobbi. A civil lawsuit against him allegedly says Nick’s behaviors “caused, among other things, substantial bodily harm to Brown,” plus claims Nick got into Bobbi Kristina’s bank accounts and stole at least $11,000, according to CNN.
Nick tweeted yesterday about Bobbi’s condition by saying: “We keep praying, she has fought hard this long don’t give up hope.”
Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically-induced coma since earlier this year in January. But throughout her time in the ICU, she was making strides to recovery—sources close to the family even said she had briefly opened her eyes.
She was revived and stabilized by doctors, and was kept in ICU. Multiple sources have confirmed that Bobbi was a regular user of heroin, cocaine and Xanax in the months before the incident. She was also a heavy drinker, reports show.
The circumstances are especially spooky—Bobbi’s mother was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton on February 11, almost exactly three years earlier. Her mother’s death was ruled an accidental drowning, but many questions still remain about what happened to Bobbi.
