Lady Gaga is the Queen of Making an Entrance. On June 18, the “Born This Way” singer was honored at the Songwriters Hall of Fame 46th Annual Induction and Awards gala, and fans saw more than just an acceptance speech.
The singer, 29, who is known for her unconventional, outrageous outfits did not disappoint at this event. She rocked an oversized, red velvet blazer, which was worn over a latex bra, leather underwear and a pair of torn pantyhose. She accessorized her barely-there outfit with a pair of glammed-up John-Lennon-esque sunglasses and platform boots.
The outfit only made it on the carpet. The fashion icon changed into a black-and-white striped pants suit with a vintage tee for the ceremony, where friend and duet partner Tony Bennett presented her with her “Contemporary Icon Award.”
But this is not the first time Lady Gaga has shown some skin. Just last week, the singer shared a bare-all photo of herself in a green thong bikini, clinging to a palm tree, showing off her impressive bikini-ready body. She wrote alongside the sexy pic “Work hard, play hard. Work hard again, play harder.”
