Has 19 Kids and Counting been canceled?
Even though TLC decided to carry a Duggar marathon on their network Thursday, that doesn’t mean it’ll get to keep its life support going.
TLC blacklisted 19 Kids and Counting from the company’s current advertising schedule, a rep for General Mills told TMZ on Friday, in light of Josh Duggar‘s police report that uncovered he molested young girls when he was a teenager. Not only that, but he admitted to the allegations and resigned from his job immediately.
To add to the pressure TLC is facing, Mama June is surfacing her own opinions about why 19 Kids & Counting should be canceled like Honey Boo Boo was.
“I read that the Duggar family said, this happening with their son brought them closer to God and each other,” Mama June said. “So they’re saying it’s OK to have family touch time? Hell no.”
Now, Mama June is threatening to sue if TLC keeps the Duggars still on tv.
So far, TLC is keeping the fate of the show hush-hush.
