The evening most certainly belonged to Taylor Swift at Sunday night’s 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Taking home a whopping eight awards, including the Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Female Artist, Billboard Chart Achievement Award and Top Artist, the “Shake It Off” singer was stunning in a sexy white Balmain jumpsuit with cut-outs and plunging cleavage. Kicking off the show, Taylor premiered her star-studded “Bad Blood” music video – a butt-kicking ode to girl power, featuring cameos by Zendaya, Cindy Crawford, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Ellen Pompeo, to name a few.
Flanked by a gang of BFF’s, the 25-year-old performer was feeling the lady love during her acceptance speech for Top Female Artist, humbly thanking “all the girls I talk to on the Internet and we talk about your feelings and you teach me your teen slang.”
Swift went on to share with the audience an extra special start to her day, which began in Indiana with the graduation ceremony of her brother Austin, from the University of Notre Dame. Later, while accepting the coveted Chart Achievement Award, an honor voted on and decided by the fans, Swift gushed how strongly she felt about them. “I’m obsessed with you”, she confessed, during her speech.
All in all, not a bad evening for a girl who credits much of her inspiration to her numerous public heartbreaks! But don’t miss what is buzzing most about Taylor Swift: her PDA moment with Calvin Harris during her win.
