Watch out Las Vegas – Jennifer Lopez is bringing that booty to town!
During the American Idol semi-finals on May 12, the 44-year-old diva announced that she’s headed to Vegas for a residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, beginning in January 2016. The Idol judge is “so excited!!!” about her big Sin City debut.
“This is going to be the show I’ve always dreamed of creating,” JLo posted on Instagram, along with a video promo for her show.
“I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life,” Lopez told Vibe magazine “The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love—Dance, Hip Hop, Latin and Pop.”
Tickets for the high octane show go on sale May 16. Wonder what current Vegas resident Mariah Carey thinks about the coming competition? We’ll just have to wait until next year to see!
