Q&A: Golnesa and Reza Dish on This Week's 'Shahs of Sunset!'

Shahs of Sunset recap

When Shahs of Sunset, a reality show about wealthy Iranians living in Los Angeles, began in 2012, cast member Golnesa “G.G.” Gharachedaghi earned a reputation for being a spoiled, tattoo-loving party girl who was financially dependent on her father. But four seasons has made a huge difference in the life of the 33-year-old entrepreneur and former gymnast!

Now, G.G. is taking control of her life by signing her own checks and enjoying a more peaceful relationship with her cast mates…or, most of them, at least! The self-professed fashion diva, along with fellow cast member Reza Farahan, sat down with StarMagazine.com to chat about Monday’s episode, including Mike Shouhed’s attempt to hook up with G.G. during a trip to Turkey — and much more!

Mike has seemed nervous and tense around you since the first episode of this season, so it was no shock he tried hooking up with you in Turkey. Where do think stand with you now?

Golnesa: Well, I wasn’t invited to his wedding. Unfortunately, things with me and MIke get more and more heated as it relates to the Turkey trip, but I don’t have any anger towards him. I’d really like the situation with him to just end.

So, you’re open to forgiving him?

Golnesa: Definitely. I mean, he was drunk and I was drunk, and nothing came out of it. I actually hope one day we can both be fine about things. I haven’t been happy with him going around saying I’m a psycho liar, because it’s made me upset and has hurt my feelings. But Mike is a man-whore and I know that. I’ve known him since I was 13-years-old.

Has his fiancee Jessica talked to you at all about his hitting on you in Turkey?

Golnesa: I actually ran into her one day in a club and she came up to me in tears saying I had no idea what she was going through. So I grabbed her ring finger, put it in her face and let her know I didn’t think she was going through much! It’s the truth. After all, she’s still marrying him, but she can’t be that stupid. She had to pass a test to become a nurse so I’m sure she has some brain cells that are active.

Jessica clearly doesn’t like you guys. How do you feel about her?

Reza: Well, Jessica and Mike have Brad and Angelina ideas of grandeur. I’m like, ‘Bi—, you are not Brad Pitt and this h- ain’t nothing like Angelina Jolie!’ I don’t know what they say to each other when they’re in bed at night, but clearly it’s some kind of Jedi mind trick because they wake up acting brand new every day.

Does this mean you don’t think Mike and Jessica’s marriage is going to last?

Reza: Mike may love Jessica, but I don’t think he’s done sowing his wild oats and, this is terrible to say, but if Shahs of Sunset doesn’t run after this season, they’ll get a divorce.

So, other than the issues with Mike, how do you all get along this season?

Reza: MJ, Asa and Golnesa are like my sisters. They always will be. We may not like each other at times, but we love each other always. I feel that way about Mike, too. He’ll always be my brother. If he called Golnesa and needed her, she would be there for him. I would too.

Golnesa: I had an awesome summer and our relationship are amazing which makes this season even better. The viewers are going to love watching it!

Tune into Season 4 of Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset on Mondays at 9PM EST!
