Looks like the Biebs has a naughty little sense of humor! On last night’s episode of Repeat After Me, Ellen DeGeneres’ new hidden camera show, Justin Bieber’s mission was to flirt shamelessly with a much older bowling instructor — and flirt he did!
Via a concealed earpiece, host Wendi McLendon-Covey gave the 20-year-old singer instructions and dialogue for his interactions with Tish, his unsuspecting, matronly bowling teacher. The Canadian crooner greeted her with a warm hug, (because “The Biebs only does hugs,” he claimed), and proceeded to brag about a new fake project he’s working on called Bieber Be Ballin’! “It’s a documentary about how good I am about handling balls!” he explained.
While showing off his tattooed arms, Bieber pointed out his owl tat, telling Tish, “I have a giant owl because I love hooters,” to which his cougar coach giggled like a little girl. Although his awkward advances were initially well-received, things got increasingly awkward when Justin randomly declared that he had to do some squats. At first, Tish played along, agreeing that this was a good idea for a warm up, but when he wouldn’t cease with the exercise, his embarrassed instructor ordered him to “Stop it!”
In the creepy fashion of a grown man with mama issues, the “Boyfriend” singer stayed very close to his trainer throughout much of the practice, admiring her backside, and even leering, “Ooh, nice tush, Tish,” at one point. Shortly afterward, he wrapped the uncomfortable grandma in his arms while whispering, “Have you ever robbed a liquor store?” sweetly in her ear.
In contrast to his 2013 Saturday Night Live appearance, which garnered very mixed reviews, the “Beauty and a Beat” singer’s comedic turn this time was unquestionably funny and he seemed to actually like looking foolish and not taking himself too seriously — traits that will certainly come in handy for next month’s Comedy Central Roast in his honor!
Good luck, Justin — you’re gonna need it!
