Like mother, like daughter! While most 8-year-olds are playing with Barbies, Anna Nicole Smith’s little girl, Dannielynn Birkhead, is amassing her own million-dollar modeling fortune!
“Dannielynn has grown up studying photos of her mother,” an insider tells Star. “She is enamored with Anna Nicole’s beauty and has told her father that she wants to be just like her mom when she grows up!”
So far, she’s off to a good start. In 2012, Dannielynn landed her first major campaign with Guess — the same fashion house that launched Anna Nicole’s career — where creative director Paul Marciano sang her praises. “Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on set!’
The blonde beauty seems poised for a successful career in front of the camera, but dad Larry Birkhead tells Star that he’s not letting her grow up too fast. “She goes to a public school and is just like every other kid there,” he shared. “I thought it was important to send her to a school where she is exposed to kids of all different backgrounds, races and cultures. I let her enjoy being a kid.”
While the precocious third grader loves the glitz and glam of photo shoots, modeling is also a way Dannielynn can feel close to her late mother, who died of a drug overdose in 2007. “Even for being so young she knows how to work a lens,” says the source. “And her joyful personality is captured in every photo — just like Anna!”
