Jay Z does not want to go to brunch with Taylor Swift — at least it sure seems that way based on their interaction at Sunday’s Grammy Awards! Cameras caught the 25-year-old during a commercial break of the big show, during which she made nice with former nemesis Kanye West, who was seated by his pal, Jay.
In the video, sans audio, the “Blank Space” singer laughs it out with Kim Kardashian’s husband, and then appears to be telling Jay, “I really want to go to brunch! I really want to go to brunch!” before reiterating two more times, “Brunch, brunch!” The rapper seems unfazed by the request, finally giving Taylor a mindless head nod and an, “Alright,” before returning to his seat.
From there, the blonde beauty posed for photos with Yeezus — six years after he infamously interrupted her VMAs acceptance speech to tell the audience that Jay’s wife Beyonce “had the best video of all time!” At the Grammys, the “Only One” rapper jokingly tried to pull the same stunt when Beck won Album Of the Year, once again beating out his BFFs significant other.
