Kanye West and Taylor Swift Will Record Music Together!

Their kiss-and-make-up moment at the Grammys wasn’t for show — Taylor Swift and Kanye West have actually made nice, and they’re taking their joint talent into the studio! The “Only One” rapper chatted with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday about Sunday’s show, and confirmed that he’s planning to make music with his former nemesis.

Nearly six years after ‘Ye interrupted the now 25-year-old’s VMAs acceptance speech, the pair posed for photos together at the Grammys, putting a public end to their feud. “She wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in,” Kanye said. “Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I’m down to get in the studio and work. I don’t discriminate, I don’t have an elitism of music because of, like, how many Grammys or, you know, the amount of ratings you get on an album.”

Meanwhile, Kanye pulled a stunt similar to that of the 2009 VMAs, when he jokingly ran on stage following Beck’s win for Album of the Year over Beyonce. “I felt like, just the whole Grammys, right when that happened, everybody was looking at me and then people started screaming, ‘Kanye! Kanye! Go do it!’ Okay, that didn’t really happen, these were voices in my head,” he admitted. “So the voices in my head told me, ‘Go,’ and then I just walked up, like, halfway up the stage. You know, what I really wanted to do was just joke around about what had happened before, but I just didn’t really want to take away from Beck’s moment or the time he was having to talk.”

Still, after Sunday’s show, Kanye stood by his decision to do what he did, and even told E!, “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce,” comments which he also clarified on Wednesday. “When I said that thing about respect artistry, I think it came off the wrong way, and that was a miswording on my part because obviously Beck is one of the most respected artists and respects artistry,” the Grammy winner explained, adding that he felt Beck should’ve at least mentioned Beyonce and the other nominees in his speech, as many winners have done in the past.

“When given a platform, it’s very hard, as we know — and I’m going to talk in third person like I’m a crazy person — but it’s very hard for Kanye West to not be very true and vocal to what he feels,” Kim Kardashian’s husband concluded. Yes, we do know, Kanye…we definitely know!
