She may have “Bad Blood” with his ex-girlfriend, but it looks like Taylor Swift is totally fine with Diplo these days! Despite a previous, one-sided Twitter feud, the duo made nice at a Grammys after party on Sunday, even posing for a photo together, which the DJ posted to his Instagram page.
“Then this happened @taylorswift vs taylor spliff#grammys2015,” he captioned the pic, in which the 25-year-old singer sips from her drink and makes wide-eyes at the camera.
At the end of last year, Diplo sent Taylor’s fans (and her BFF Lorde) into a frenzy, when he posted on Twitter, “Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty,” and then subsequently promoted a fan-made kickstarter page that did just that. Then, in GQ’s February 2015 issue, the 36-year-old went so far as to call the “Blank Space” singer’s fans, who she’s notoriously protective of, “really crazy” and “the worst people in the world.”
Interestingly enough, Diplo previously dated one of Taylor’s current enemies, Katy Perry — the blonde beauty penned the song “Bad Blood” about the “Roar” singer, who retaliated by tweeting, “Look out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…” The former friends have been in an ongoing feud since last fall.
One last thing to note — Diplo isn’t the only person Taylor made nice with during music’s biggest night! Six years after Kanye West interrupted her VMAs acceptance speech, the pair were spotted laughing and chatting in the awards show audience after he jokingly pulled the same move on Beck during Sunday’s telecast. He’s “still an innocent,” after all!
