Does Jordin Sparks have plans for Valentine’s Day now that she’s split from Jason Derulo?! Star caught up with the singer at the Delta Pre-Grammy Party, where she dished on that and much more! Check out our exclusive interview:

We love your #makeithappy campaign. Do you have any words of wisdom for your fans out there who are being cyber-bullied?

Oh, thank you, yay! Well, for me it’s so crazy because I feel like I may have been one of the last generations. Twitter wasn’t really big, Instagram wasn’t around, we had Myspace but that was about it. And I remember even then there was stuff going on, people saying dumb things, but now, in this world that we live in, constantly, I get a lot of stuff every day — negative, funny, happy, silly comments — and I respond to all of them.

My advice would be to just respond with kindness, because then, they can’t get mad, and if they get mad, they can only get mad at themselves for responding to kindness. Also, don’t take what someone says online to equal what you’re worth, because that doesn’t equate what you’re worth outside of the cyber world. You’re your own person, you’re an individual, you’re amazing, and they have to realize that doesn’t make them who they are.

What was it like working with Victoria Justice?

I didn’t get to see her actually! We were all scheduled at different times, so I didn’t get to see her, but she came in right after me and we just crossed. But every time I’ve seen her, she’s been very, very sweet and I love the show, so I’m a big fan of her.

Do you have a date for Valentine’s Day?

No, actually! I’m honestly in a really good place right now. I feel like I’m coming into my own and just having fun. I’m good without a date. Girl power!

We saw you tweeted some support for Bobbi Kristina. Are you close with her?

Yes, she’s very sweet. I actually haven’t been able to spend time with her, but every time I’ve seen her, I always told her, ‘If you need anything, just call me. You have a friend in me if you need me.” And she’s a very special girl, very sweet, has the biggest heart ever. She’s a lot like her mom. [Whitney] Houston was incredible, so she’s incredible

If Whitney were here, how do you think she would be supporting her daughter right now?

She would be with her. She would say, ‘Screw all of this!’ She would definitely be there with her. Whitney was like that; she was a real family person for sure.

What was your favorite memory with Whitney? What did you like to do together?

Well, I only got to spend time with her on set, so it’s not like we got to go riding in the car together or anything like that, although I wish I did. I remember at one point she was listening to Gospel music while we were on set and then I started listening and I said, ‘Wow, I wish I could do that’ and she looks at me and said, ‘You can do that, you got this!’ I didn’t even know what to do! I will never forget her saying that since every time I got nervous before singing, I hear her saying, ‘You got this.’ So that’s one of my favorite memories. When Whitney passed, I was literally going to walk the red carpet with her that night, so it still hurts. My heart is breaking for their family.
