Complicated is an understatement for these two. After Star reported in the Oct. 6, 2014 issue that Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger were on the brink of the divorce, the couple are now in the midst of a reconciliation.
The Nickelback frontman, who wed the “Hello Kitty” singer in July 2013, recently stepped up to the plate after his wife revealed she’s suffering from an undiagnosed illness. Avril tweeted about her difficulties in December, saying, “I’m not feeling well. I’m having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers.”
And now the duo, who pays say used to fight constantly, are leaning on each other for support. “Seeing Avril suffer makes Chad want to care for her rather than fight with her,” a friend admits. “This whole thing made them realize how much they want to fix their marriage.”
