It’s been over a month since Ashton Kutcher posted that cryptic “Happy New Year” message from “The Kutchers” on Facebook, but neither he or rumored wife Mila Kunis will officially confirm that they tied the knot! Naturally, during the Jupiter Ascending star’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the talk show host did her best to get the news to slip.
“I don’t know!” Mila laughed, when asked if the photo meant she was married. “We can just be a plural. Like, my daughter has his last name. There’s multiple Kutchers. He has a brother…” And while she never flat-out admitted to being Mrs. Kutcher, she certainly didn’t deny it, and couldn’t help but break out into a case of nervous giggles as Ellen kept pushing.
One topic the new mom had no problem talking about, though, was her four-month-old daughter, Wyatt Isabelle. “She’s a really good baby,” the actress gushed. “She was 9.5 pounds when she was born. Because she was so big, she’s like a hearty little thing, so we skipped the newborn phase. She’s a good, hearty eater. Newborn never happened, newborn diapers never happened, newborn clothes never happened. She’s a big girl, y’all!”
The couple has been praised for raising their child without the help from nannies, a process which Mila modestly opened up about during her interview. “Here’s the thing, when I go back to work full time and have to have 17 hour workdays, I’m going to need somebody to come and help me because I can’t do both,” she explained. “But because I’m in a very specific place in my life where I could take time off, I did, and I don’t think that everybody has that privilege. I think people have to go back to work right away these days…and I didn’t. And so I took advantage of it. I love the fact that the first three months, she and I were up every night and I figured her out and she figured me out. She now sleeps in her own crib in her own room, and I’ll never have that time again.”
And even though Ashton has had to go back to work since Wyatt’s birth (he’s been filming Two and a Half Men), his maybe-wife revealed that he’s not taking it easy on daddy-duty either. “He is an amazing dad,” she said. “I wouldn’t have done this by myself. He’s 100% present. He always said that since I’m breastfeeding, so I provide the food for the baby, so his thing is diapers. The second she was born he changed the first diaper and has changed multiple diapers ever since.”
