It won’t be long before there’s a new addition to the ever-growing Duggar clan! Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, are happily expecting their first child, a baby boy, this spring, and have taken fans along for the ride by continuously giving updates about the pregnancy.

Jill and Derick announced their pregnancy less than two months after tying the knot in June 2014. They confirmed the news with this sweet Instagram post, captioned, “We’re expecting!!! So grateful to God for this new little blessing!!!”
In September, Derick gave followers a look at how his wife’s body changed from the 5 week to 11 week mark. “By the end of next week, all of our baby’s body parts, from tooth buds to toenails, will be developing!” he wrote, excitedly.
At 12 weeks along, Jill happily showed off her bump in a bright yellow top and striped maxi skirt. “Had our 12 wk midwife appt yesterday!” Derick updated.
By the time the 23-year-old reached 13 weeks in mid-September, there was no hiding the pregnancy any longer! “Officially in our second trimester!” Derick revealed. “Our baby is now the size of a fuzzy sweet Georgia peach!”
At the end of October, Jill posed for her signature bump photo once again, this time, showing off a major increase in size. “Just about halfway now to meeting our son!” Derick gushed.
For Thanksgiving with her hubby’s family, the reality star let her belly breathe in a loose-fitting shirt and skirt. “So many blessings to count this Thanksgiving…” she captioned the pic. “Mama Cathy is well, best hubby in the world, expecting a son, God’s mercies are new every morning!”
Baby Dilly took his first mission trip in December, during which Jill proudly cradled her stomach on the beach with Derick.
And for Christmas, Jill really got into the spirit, wrapping a bow around her protruding belly and happily standing in a prom pose with Derick. “As we rejoice in the celebrations around the birth of Jesus Christ, we thank God for our precious little gift!” she wrote.
For the 28-week mark, Jill decided to forego her typical style for a comfy t-shirt — it won’t be long, now!
